Alaska Airlines expanding California network

Sea-Tac's Alaska Airlines announced today it is expanding its network within California. The airline through its Horizon Air sister airline will begin flying between San Diego and Monterey and between Santa Rosa and San Diego in June. The airline will also connect San Diego to Fresno with twice-daily non-stop service. The airline also plans twice-daily non-stop service between San Jose and Reno, Nev. Alaska already connects Santa Rosa with Los Angeles. Alaska doesn't presently serve Monterey. Alaska now provides service to 15 airports in California, mostly from the Pacific Northwest.
