All Nippon Airways' Dreamliners suffering startup glitches

All Nippon Airways, launch customer for Boeing's new 787 Dreamliner has had to cancel 20 percent of its first 10 flights between Tokyo and Frankfurt because of technical problems, FlightGlobal.com reports today. ANA substituted a Boeing 777 on the routes when the 787 was unavailable. The aviation site reported those technical issues occurred on Jan. 26 and Jan. 30. The Tokyo-Frankfurt flights are the first regularly scheduled long-distance flights for the new plane. One flight was scrubbed because the plane's flaps failed to operate.
