Indian airline orders 737s

One of India's largest airlines, Jet Airways, today announced orders for 17 Boeing 737-800 Next Generation airliners. Those orders were a conversion of an option to buy with Boeing. At list prices, the order is worth $1.4 billion, though discounts are common. The planes will be built at Boeing's Renton plant.
