Russian carrier Transaero says it will order 747-8s

Boeing's slow-selling 747-8 may soon have its fourth commercial airline customer. Russia's Tranaero said this week it has reached a preliminary agreement with Boeing to buy four of the newest generation 747s, Flightglobal reported today. The agreement came just days after the company said it had reached a tentative deal to buy four of Airbus's biggest plane, the A380.
